29 Apr May 28th Recognizing and Understanding Separation Anxiety
The Dutch Cell Dogs is a foundation based in the Netherlands that guides detainees in training shelter dogs that are difficult to place. The aim is to give the dogs a better chance of rehoming through training. The training also has a positive effect on the detainees.
They also host dog behavior workshops and webinars with the goal of educating both dog trainers, shelter advocates and dog guardians in general.
In this 2-hour webinar, Moira will discuss the difference between separation related behaviors and separation anxiety, how to find out if a dog has it and how to prepare a dog for success by implementing a plan that includes both management and training.
